Thank you for visiting my work

 Much of my practice focuses on street, documentary and portraiture, and my projects often highlight social issues.

My work has been featured by the Glasgow Gallery of Photography, The Centre for British Documentary Photography, Shutter Hub, The Royal Photographic Society, Klick street photography magazine, Document Scotland and StreetSnappers Collective. My documentary work is also featured in the book, A Street Photography Manifesto.

Two of my documentary projects have been self-published: 

•  The Other Blackpool, about real life beyond the promenade of England’s most iconic seaside town.

•  As Long As I Keep Busy, about living alone and loneliness in the UK today.

Since retiring from my career in UK public services and academia I have developed my photography practice with an MA in photography and, via my project work, an Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society.
